Audio productions and recordings are the center of my work. Together we can record anything from a single piece to an entire CD production. I offer all the work stages that are necessary to get from the recording to the finished audio files that can then be published.
In addition to productions, I also offer the recording of concerts and other live events. After recording, I mix and master the audio material so that you end up with an audio file that can be distributed.
If you have already made a recording, but the material has not yet been edited, mixed or mastered, then I can take over these steps and finish the project. I regularly work in the field of classical as well as pop music.
In many cases, clients want their performances to be captured in both image and sound. I also offer additional video recordings for smaller projects such as competition videos or smaller concerts. For larger multi-camera productions I have specialized colleagues with whom I like to cooperate.
As a musician, I couldn’t decide my whole youth whether I preferred classical music or pop music. To this day, I appreciate the diversity of music, which is why I enjoy working regularly with artists from all kinds of genres, from classical to jazz to rock music.

ABOUT
Benedikt Roß
I am a sound engineer, producer and musician from Berlin. I live in Vienna.
I have been playing the classical guitar since I was eight and was a junior student at the Julius Stern Institute (UdK Berlin) until I graduated from high school. Among other things, music theory and ear training were part of my education. In addition to the classical guitar, I play the piano and sing in a choir.
I have always had a great interest in pop and rock music. I played the electric guitar in a band when I was at school. During this time I learned a lot about how to write and produce songs, what it means to spend whole days in recording studios as a musician and how important it is to find the right sound.
In the beginning of 2024 I have obtained my „Tonmeister“ diploma degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (mdw). There I have expanded my musical and technical knowledge, deepened my artistic skills and professionalized my competences. I have also gained a lot of experience in recording and working with musicians, both in classical music and in pop music. I started working as a freelance sound engineer a few years ago alongside my studies and am now fully active in this field.
